A number of Palestinians were martyred and injured early Sunday in a series of airstrikes and artillery bombardments conducted by Israeli warplanes and artillery, marking the 184th day of continuous aggression on the Gaza Strip, particularly targeting the cities of Khan Younis and Rafah in the southern part of the enclave.
In the latest developments, Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes on homes in the Al-Juneina neighborhood of Rafah city, and others in Khan Younis in the southern part of the Strip.
The Palestinian news agency “WAFA” reported that Israeli aircraft intensely fired towards the Zanna area and Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of a number of Palestinians.
Additionally, two Palestinians were injured in the vicinity of a house near Al-Istiqama Mosque, which was bombed by the occupation in the Al-Juneina neighborhood east of Rafah city.
Israeli warplanes carried out several airstrikes on various areas west of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip on Saturday night, targeting a group of residents near the Turkish slaughterhouse in the west, leading to the martyrdom and injury of dozens of Palestinians. This was concurrent with artillery shelling by the occupation forces on wide areas in the south and west of the city.
Local sources stated that the occupation forces shelled wide areas in Beit Hanoun and the Qleibo area north of Gaza, in conjunction with artillery shelling on Al-Zaytoun neighborhood east of Gaza city, and the southern neighborhoods of the city.
The Israeli occupation continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7th, by land, sea, and air, resulting in the martyrdom of 33,137 Palestinians, the majority of whom are children and women, and injuring more than 75,815 others, in a still-incomplete toll.
