Israeli Military Kills Senior Hamas Member in Gaza

The Israeli military announced on Tuesday the killing of a prominent Hamas member in Gaza.

In a statement, the military confirmed, “We killed Mohammad Al-Mahasna in an airstrike, who was responsible for Hamas’ weapons smuggling operations.”

This follows the Israeli military’s announcement on Monday about the killing of Abdul Fattah Al-Zurai, described as “Hamas’ Minister of Economy.”

The military detailed that Al-Zurai was a leader in the manufacturing department of Hamas’ military wing.

Israel has intensified its strikes on Gaza, leading to a significant increase in Palestinian casualties.

According to health authorities in Gaza, the death toll has risen to approximately 40,000.

Days before, Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas‘ political wing, was assassinated in Tehran in an attack attributed to Israel, which has not yet officially acknowledged responsibility for the act.
