As Hezbollah announced the conclusion of the first phase of its retaliation for the assassination of its military commander Fouad Shukr, Israel renewed its threats of potential strikes across all of Lebanon. Israeli army spokesperson Daniel Hagari stated that Israel will target any location in Lebanon that poses a threat, emphasising that their operations are coordinated with Iran.
Hagari also revealed that over 100 Israeli warplanes participated in recent airstrikes, destroying thousands of Hezbollah’s rocket launch platforms. More than 40 locations from which Hezbollah fired rockets were targeted, with the Israeli military releasing footage of the strikes.
Additionally, Israel expanded its warnings to include the Greater Tel Aviv area and all regions north of it, indicating the seriousness of the situation. According to Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath’s bureau chief in Palestine, Tel Aviv does not rule out potential responses from other fronts, such as the Houthis in Yemen or Iran, at a later time.
