Israeli Defense Minister and member of the War Cabinet, Benny Gantz, announced on Wednesday that the Cabinet is “united in launching a military operation in Rafah,” and those who believe we are delaying will see it soon, as we will reach every corner in the Gaza Strip.
Gantz stated that the reality of “challenges related to the behavior of the Israeli government” cannot be ignored.
Meanwhile, Gaza Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday an increase in the death toll in the Gaza Strip to 31,272 people, in addition to 73,024 injuries, since the beginning of the war on October 7 last year, indicating that “72% of the victims are children and women.”
On the other hand, White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan announced on Tuesday that President Joe Biden will not support any Israeli military operation in Rafah that does not protect civilians, noting that the White House has not yet seen a plan to execute that can be trusted.
