In an ongoing campaign in the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli forces have disseminated leaflets urging residents to provide crucial information regarding captives taken by Hamas on October 7.

The besieged enclave continues to face relentless bombardment.

Distributed on Saturday, the leaflets featured images of dozens of captives still held in Gaza, accompanied by a message incentivizing cooperation with Israel.

“Want to return home? Please report if you’ve identified one of them,” read the message, which included a provided phone number and a website link containing images and names of the captives in Arabic.

The captives were initially taken during Hamas’s October 7 attack on southern Israel, resulting in over 1,100 casualties.

Subsequently, Israel has maintained a sustained bombardment on Gaza, resulting in the deaths of over 24,900 Palestinians, with a majority being women and children.

While more than 100 captives were released during a brief truce in November between Israel and Hamas, the latest information suggests that 132 individuals remain in captivity in Gaza, and 27 have tragically lost their lives during this period.
