The Israeli Home Front Command reported that since the beginning of the war, 11,000 rockets have been launched from Gaza towards Israel.
The Israeli military admitted on Monday the killing of three of its soldiers in battles in northern Gaza, with a fourth soldier seriously injured. This follows their announcement of expanding their ground operation against the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) across the Gaza Strip. According to IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari, approximately 10,000 airstrikes have been conducted since the start of the war.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reported the deaths of three soldiers in the Gaza Strip, bringing the military death toll since the ground offensive began in late October to 75. Additionally, a Combat Engineering Corps soldier was seriously injured in battles in northern Gaza. The military has escalated its operations into southern Gaza, targeting Hamas leadership.
Palestinian militants in Gaza have launched over 9,500 rockets at Israeli territory since the beginning of the conflict one month ago, as reported by the Israeli Foreign Ministry. The conflict has resulted in approximately 1,400 deaths in Israel, with over 7,198 injuries. Currently, 342 people are hospitalized, with 51 in serious condition.
In response to these attacks, the IDF has targeted over 14,000 terror sites in Gaza. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that troops have eliminated “thousands of terrorists” in the coastal enclave.
This ongoing conflict represents a significant escalation in hostilities between Israel and Hamas, impacting both military and civilian populations. The high number of rocket attacks from Gaza and the extensive Israeli military response highlight the severity and complexity of the situation, underlining the urgent need for a resolution to prevent further loss of life and suffering on both sides.
