The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced on Sunday that it has successfully targeted a vital area in the occupied Golan Heights using drone technology.
The group stated that this operation is part of their ongoing resistance against the occupation and in solidarity with the people of Gaza, responding to the massacres committed by the “aggressor entity” against Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and the elderly.
“This morning, the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq have struck a crucial target in the occupied Golan, utilizing drone aircraft as part of our continued commitment to our resistance strategy,” the organization declared in a statement.
The group further emphasized their determination to continue striking the strongholds of their enemies.
This latest operation follows an explosion at the Kalsu military base, which hosts several Iraqi factions, resulting in casualties including one fatality and multiple injuries.
The United States has been accused of being behind this incident.
Additionally, the resistance also mentioned a drone attack they conducted the previous Saturday targeting a significant objective in Eilat, southern Israel.
This was described as a response to the “Zionist enemy’s violation of Iraqi sovereignty by treacherously targeting Popular Mobilization Forces camps.”
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq reaffirms its ongoing commitment to combating the forces occupying their territories and supporting their regional allies against external aggressions.
