The Iraqi factions stated in a release, “Continuing our approach in resisting the occupation, in support of our people in Gaza, and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against Palestinian civilians including children, women, and elders, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted a vital objective in Haifa on our occupied lands this Sunday morning, August 25, 2024, using drones, and confirms the Islamic Resistance’s ongoing efforts to strike at the strongholds of the enemies.” On the previous Tuesday evening, the Iraqi factions targeted a vital facility in Eilat, Israel, in response to “massacres against Palestinian civilians.” Their statement on Telegram added, “Continuing our approach in resisting the occupation and supporting our people in Palestine, and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against Palestinian civilians including children, women, and elders, the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted a vital objective in occupied Umm al-Rashrash ‘Eilat’ on the evening of Tuesday, August 20, 2024.”
