Hezbollah and the Israeli army exchanged fire on Friday, targeting military sites on both sides as tensions along the border have continued to escalate since October.
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported phosphorus shelling between Tel Nahas and Hammams, near the Marjayoun plain. An airstrike also hit a house in the village of Al-Dhahira, while Israeli artillery bombarded the town of Kfar Kila in southern Lebanon.
Sky News Arabia reported an Israeli drone striking the outskirts of the town of Marun al-Ras in southern Lebanon.
In response, Hezbollah claimed it targeted the Zibdin military barracks with rockets, achieving direct hits, and used a suicide drone to strike the Ma’ayan Baruch outpost.
Israeli military radio stated that an explosive-laden drone crashed in an open area near Ma’ayan Baruch in the Upper Galilee, with no injuries reported.
