At least eight people were injured in Tel Aviv on Tuesday after a car driver rammed pedestrians near a shopping center and proceeded to launch a knife attack on civilians.

Hamas has taken responsibility for the Tel Aviv assault, attributing it to Israel’s military operations in Jenin. A civilian present at the scene successfully neutralized the attacker, whom the Israeli police have labeled a “terrorist.”

Meanwhile, in the West Bank town of Jenin, located approximately 38 miles northeast, clashes have entered their second day.

Israeli forces, supported by drones and armored vehicles, are engaged in intense combat with armed Palestinians in the refugee camp while conducting weapons searches in the area.

The fighting in Jenin has resulted in the deaths of 10 Palestinians, aged 16 to 23, and numerous injuries, including civilians.
