The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Monday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli assault on Gaza has risen to 41,909, with the majority of the victims being children and women. This figure has surged since the offensive began on October 7.
The Ministry also reported that the number of injured has reached 97,303 since the beginning of the aggression. Thousands of victims remain trapped under the rubble.
The Palestinian Health Ministry indicated that Israeli forces have committed 43 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip. Over the past 24 hours, hospitals have received 39 martyrs and 137 injured individuals.
Rescue teams are struggling to reach more victims, as many remain under the debris and stranded on the streets due to the heavy bombardment.
The unprecedented Israeli assault continues by land, sea, and air, lasting for over a year. The offensive has caused tens of thousands of deaths, injuries, and disappearances. It has also left massive destruction across Gaza’s infrastructure and essential services, triggering an unparalleled humanitarian catastrophe as access to food, water, medicine, and fuel remains severely restricted.
