The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza reported today that the death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks, now in their 246th day, has reached 36,801.

In its daily statistical report on casualties since the start of the Israeli offensive on Gaza on October 7, the ministry stated that Israeli forces “committed five massacres against families in the sector, resulting in 70 deaths and 150 injuries in the past 24 hours.”

The ministry added that the total number of wounded has risen to 83,680, noting that “many victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are unable to reach them.”

On the 246th day of the war on Gaza, the Israeli army carried out an airstrike near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, causing dozens of injuries.

This was accompanied by heavy aerial and artillery bombardment in the eastern part of the city, involving helicopter gunships.

The areas of Al-Maghazi, Al-Nuseirat, and Al Zawayda also faced intense bombardment, with tanks advancing into Al-Bureij camp, according to our correspondent.

Later, our correspondent reported that Al-Nuseirat camp and Al Zawayda were subjected to heavy bombardment by five Israeli military helicopters.

Medical sources in Gaza indicated that Saturday’s Israeli airstrikes on Al-Nuseirat camp and various locations in central Gaza resulted in 47 deaths and dozens of injuries.
