Several citizens, mostly children and women, were killed, and others were injured early Saturday morning in the continuous shelling by Israel of various areas in the Gaza Strip.
A rise in the death toll was reported after the occupation planes targeted a house belonging to the Radwan family in the Tel Al-Sultan neighborhood in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, to 9 martyrs, including 6 children and women.
One martyr was killed as a result of the occupation planes bombing a house near the eastern cemetery in the eastern city of Rafah, as at least one rocket targeted lands in the neighborhoods of Al-Brahma and Al-Shawwah, and its artillery fired several shells towards the border areas of the city.
The occupation artillery also launched several shells at the Zaytoun neighborhood and Tel Al-Hawa in Gaza City and carried out an airstrike on a house in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of Gaza City.
The occupation planes also destroyed a residential block in the Al-Dawah neighborhood north of the Nusseirat camp in central Gaza, belonging to the families of Al-Gharabli, Al-Nabahin, Abu Marahil, Al-Sayyid, and Al-Qisas.
The Israeli naval boats also fired their machine guns towards the beach of the city of Deir Al-Balah, in the middle of the Gaza Strip.
In a preliminary toll, the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the sector since the start of the aggression on Palestine on October 7 has risen to 34,012 martyrs and 76,833 injuries.
The Gaza Strip has been a frequent site of conflict between Israeli forces and Palestinian militants, resulting in numerous casualties and significant damage to infrastructure and civilian homes.
The recent escalation in violence has led to a surge in casualties, with many civilians, including children and women, bearing the brunt of the violence.
The international community has called for an end to the hostilities and a return to negotiations for a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
