Al Jazeera reports that occupation police have increased their presence around Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem’s Old City. The police are imposing stringent restrictions, preventing Palestinians from attending Friday prayers at the mosque.
42 countries spanning Arab, Islamic, and Asian regions have collectively agreed to a joint broadcast in collaboration with Palestinian Television. This collaborative broadcast is slated for the upcoming Saturday, commencing at 1 PM GMT and will span an hour.
According to a statement issued by the Broadcasting and Television Union of Islamic Cooperation States today, this unique broadcast will integrate live transmissions from Palestinian Television.
The program will feature interventions from distinguished political figures, media personalities, and top-tier officials. Heading the list of eminent contributors is the Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Mr. Hussein Ibrahim Taha, accompanied by several radio and television broadcast officials.
It’s essential to highlight the coordinated efforts of the Broadcasting and Television Union of Islamic Cooperation States, chaired by Dr. Amr Al-Leithi, and the General Supervisor of Palestinian Official Media, Minister Ahmed Assaf. Their combined endeavors for this specific joint transmission arise from the overarching objective to support the Palestinian cause and counteract the severe transgressions stemming from Israeli aggression.
Further elevating the objective, Palestinian Television, boasting an expansive network of correspondents, is tailoring a specialized programming map and dedicated coverage.
This initiative aims to provide a holistic portrayal of the Gaza Strip and other Palestinian regions, broadcasting live through television channels and radios affiliated with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
