The Palestinian National Liberation Movement (Fatah) has urgently appealed to the international community and human rights organizations to intervene and halt what it describes as an Israeli genocide against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank, including Jerusalem.
According to a statement released by the Palestinian news agency, Fatah condemned the global silence on the suffering of the Palestinian people, warning that it only exacerbates the conflict.
The statement highlighted recent atrocities, citing massacres at the “Hassan Salameh” and “Al-Nasr” schools as undeniable evidence of the criminal tendencies of the Israeli government, which, according to Fatah, aims to displace and expel the Palestinian population.
Fatah emphasized that these massacres present a serious and decisive test for the world to force the Israeli regime to immediately cease its comprehensive genocide and adhere to international law and related resolutions.
The Israeli military has targeted civilian infrastructure such as shelters, religious sites, residential areas, and infrastructure, demonstrating a systematic effort to displace Palestinians from their land, the statement noted.
Despite the horrific nature of these massacres, the statement from Fatah declared that the Palestinian people’s resolve remains unshaken.
Palestinians will continue to cling to their legitimate national rights, refuse to leave their land, and persist until they can establish an independent, sovereign state with Jerusalem as its capital.
In related comments, Nasser Kanani, spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, stated that the strategic balance in the Palestinian territories and regionally will never again favor the Israeli occupation and its so-called supporters.
According to the Iranian news agency, Kanani pointed out that the war crime committed by Israel in Gaza, specifically the bombing of the “Al-Nasr” and “Hassan Salameh” schools which resulted in over 25 Palestinian deaths and dozens injured, is a clear indication of Israeli brutality and war crimes in Palestine.
