Dr. Mahmoud Zaki, President of Tanta University, has announced that Tanta University has been included in the 2024 global ranking by the British QS system for the third consecutive year, ranking 1201-1400 globally and fifth locally among 15 Egyptian universities.

This achievement is the result of the university’s efforts to enhance its academic and research level, in accordance with a strategic plan aimed at meeting the needs of modern education and scientific research to achieve excellence and innovation.

The ranking system considers six criteria, including academic reputation (40%), employer reputation (10%), faculty/student ratio (20%), citations per faculty (20%), international faculty ratio (5%), and international student ratio (5%). This year’s ranking evaluated over 31,000 universities worldwide from 104 countries.
