Egypt Stresses Humanitarian Access to Gaza

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from Czech President Petr Pavel, emphasising the importance of advancing bilateral cooperation, particularly in economic and trade areas.

The discussion covered regional and international issues, focusing on the Ukrainian crisis and Gaza Strip developments. El-Sisi called for peaceful solutions to crises and highlighted the need for immediate international efforts to secure a ceasefire in Gaza and ensure unfettered humanitarian relief access to address the dire conditions faced by Palestinians.

He also stressed the necessity of taking steps to prevent conflict escalation and achieving a just resolution to the Palestinian issue based on the two-state solution
