In a speech delivered at the extraordinary Arab-Islamic summit in Riyadh, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi emphasized the urgent need to reach a settlement for the conflict based on the two-state solution.

He advocated for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the borders of June 4, 1967, with its capital in East Jerusalem.

President Sisi reiterated Egypt’s warnings against unilateral policies and now cautions against the consequences of failing to halt the hostilities in Gaza. He expressed concerns that continued attacks, with their unprecedented severity, could lead to an escalation of military confrontations in the region.

Regardless of efforts to exercise restraint, prolonged assaults have the potential to alter the equation and its dynamics overnight. The continuous Zionist aggression since October 7th on Gaza and the West Bank has resulted in 11,208 martyrs and approximately 29,500 injured, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

As reported by the Palestinian news agency “Wafa,” the daily report from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, dated Friday, November 10th, states that the aggression has caused 11,025 martyrs in Gaza and over 27,000 injured. In the West Bank, the death toll has reached 183 martyrs, while the number of wounded individuals has risen to around 2,500.
