On the sidelines of the United Nations Security Council meeting on Palestine in New York, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held discussions with his Hungarian counterpart, Peter Szijjarto.
Ahmed Abu Zeid, the official spokesperson for Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, shared on the “X” platform that the two ministers discussed efforts to end the violence and escalation in Gaza, as well as the sustainable and secure delivery of humanitarian aid.
Minister Shoukry participated in the ministerial session of the Security Council, which was convened at the request of Brazil, holding the council’s presidency this month, to address the developments in the Middle East.
