Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population has been actively focusing on the enhancement of public health services, not only for its citizens but also for the more than 9 million immigrants residing in the country from 133 nations around the globe. This figure represents 8.7% of Egypt’s population.
In a regular meeting at the new administrative capital, the Minister of Health, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, gathered with department heads and officials to review various aspects of the Ministry’s work. The gathering aimed at identifying and overcoming challenges, ensuring the continual provision of the best medical services to patients.
According to Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, the Minister monitored the work rates and achievements concerning the national health strategy during the meeting. The strategy is guided by specific health maps for Egypt’s provinces, aligning with the objectives of sustainable development.
