Egypt has called on Israel to immediately implement all measures ordered by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in a ruling on the Gaza Strip.
The ICJ ordered Israel to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza, and to take measures to prevent and punish acts of genocide against Palestinians in the Strip.
Egypt said it was disappointed that the ICJ did not order an immediate ceasefire, but it welcomed the ruling as a “victory for international law.”
The ICJ’s ruling is a major setback for Israel, which has rejected the ruling as “biased and politically motivated.”
