Republican candidate Donald Trump fiercely criticized the Biden administration’s immigration policies at a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania rally organised by Fox News.
Trump claimed that the southern border with Mexico has become a gateway for criminals and escapees, who enter the United States to commit crimes, including rape. He blamed President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris for failing to control the influx of undocumented immigrants.
During his speech, Trump highlighted that approximately 21 million undocumented immigrants have entered the United States since Biden took office in 2021.
He vowed to initiate the largest deportation campaign in the country’s history if he wins the upcoming presidential election in November.
Trump also launched sharp critiques at Democratic candidate Harris, labeling her as “incapable” of presenting strong political ideas.
He urged the public to be wary of her “communist” policies, warning that her election could lead to job losses and higher taxes for Americans.
On Tuesday, social media profiles of Trump family members, including Lara and Tiffany Trump, were hacked to promote a fake cryptocurrency project.
The posts on X, formerly Twitter, were related to a digital-asset initiative called “World Liberty Financial.” Eric Trump confirmed the posts were part of a scam, and X locked down the affected accounts “within minutes.”
The now-deleted post on Lara Trump’s account falsely claimed the project aimed to take power away from traditional banks and give control to the people.
The post linked to a fake website promoting a governance token called $WL on the Solana blockchain.
The Trump campaign has not yet commented on the incident, and the World Liberty Financial X page has warned against clicking on any links or purchasing tokens from the hacked profiles.
