The Qassam Brigades, the military arm of Hamas, have asserted that they dealt significant blows to Israeli forces during a series of operations in Khan Yunis, situated in the southern region of the Gaza Strip, on Saturday.
In a statement released on Saturday, the Qassam Brigades declared that they had killed three Israeli soldiers from the “Zionist regime” in Khan Yunis, escalating the day’s tally of Israeli military casualties to eight.
According to the statement, Hamas forces targeted three Israeli “Merkava” tanks using “Al-Yassin 105” shells and successfully engaged rescue teams trying to advance by detonating three pre-prepared anti-personnel devices.
Reports later emerged on Saturday evening indicating that a group of soldiers had been targeted by Qassam forces, resulting in the deaths of three Israeli troops.
In parallel, Hezbollah announced its own military actions, claiming to have targeted the Ruwaisat al-Alam site in the occupied Lebanese hills of Kafr Shuba with a Burkan missile, achieving a direct hit. Additionally, Hezbollah claimed to have aimed at the Zaoura camp in the occupied Golan Heights using a Katyusha rocket launcher.
Simultaneously, the Israeli occupation forces launched raids on the town of Aita al-Shaab in southern Lebanon. Reports from Lebanese media revealed that the occupation artillery also bombed the Al-Qataa area on the outskirts of the town of Shebaa.
