The Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Aramco, Engineer Amin Nasser, has announced plans to increase gas production by 50 to 60 percent by 2030, according to Saudi Al-Arabiya.

In a recent statement, Saudi Aramco, the world’s largest oil company, unveiled its ambitious strategy to boost gas production significantly over the next decade.
This move aims to meet the growing global demand for cleaner energy sources and diversify the kingdom’s economy.

Aramco’s plan to increase gas production comes as a strategic response to changing market dynamics. By enhancing their gas production capabilities, the company aims to cater to the rising demand for natural gas, which is considered a cleaner-burning fuel compared to other hydrocarbon resources.

The ambitious target of a 50 to 60 percent increase in gas production by 2030 reflects Aramco’s commitment to sustainable energy solutions and aligns with the Saudi Vision 2030, a comprehensive plan to diversify the nation’s economy and reduce its reliance on oil exports.
