Alghad TV’s correspondent in Khartoum reported on Saturday that 120 individuals were killed in tribal confrontations in the Darfur state on the Sudanese-Chadian border. The Sudanese army launched airstrikes today on positions belonging to the Rapid Support Forces in East Khartoum.

The Sudanese military escalated its assaults on the territories and strongholds of the Rapid Support Forces from yesterday afternoon on multiple fronts.

Militant operations flared on many fronts in several areas of Khartoum just hours after a period of calm. The Sudanese army announced last Friday the death of 26 members of the Rapid Support Forces in North Kordofan state and the destruction of two combat vehicles by special task forces.
