Armed groups dressed in military uniforms executed looting operations targeting homes and stores in the southern part of Khartoum, Sudan, according to witnesses.

Sahouri, an eyewitness and resident of Bahri, stated that the aerial bombardments have been targeting the region, where the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have been heavily present since the conflict began, but the airstrikes intensified over the past two weeks.

As a result of the airstrikes and artillery shelling, most of the area’s residents have fled to states unaffected by armed conflicts.

South Khartoum, along with Bahri and Omdurman, forms the broader capital region of Sudan on both sides of the Nile River.

In the southern part of Khartoum, witnesses reported ongoing looting operations on homes and businesses by armed groups donning military attire.
