Five people were killed and at least eight others were injured in the crash of a small plane above a warehouse near Warsaw’s airport on Monday night, according to police.

The accident took place at a small airport ” Chrcynno”, 47 km north of the Polish capital.

Warsaw Police spokesperson Sylvester Marchak stated, “There are five fatalities and eight injured individuals, including two in critical condition.”

He also mentioned that the police received an initial report about the incident at 19:39 local time (17:39 UTC), originating from this small airport.

Rescuers reported that the plane, a Cessna 208 model used for parachute jumping, was carrying three people.
