Hezbollah announced on Friday that it targeted Israeli military installations, specifically a missile and air defense base at the Kila Barracks, using Katyusha rockets.

The group also reported striking the command center of the 188th Armored Brigade, part of the 36th Division, located at the Aliliqa Barracks.

Israeli Channel 12 reported that an Israeli citizen sustained minor injuries after their vehicle was damaged during the interception of missiles in the occupied Golan Heights.

The channel also noted that ten firefighting teams were deployed to respond to incidents in Safed and the kibbutz of Ortal following the rocket fire from Lebanon.

The tensions between Hezbollah and Israel have been escalating, particularly along the Lebanese border.

This latest incident marks a continuation of hostilities that have persisted for decades, often flaring up into open conflict.

The region has seen increased military activity and heightened security alerts, especially following recent confrontations involving both parties.

Hezbollah’s actions come amid a backdrop of ongoing regional tensions and political instability, which have heightened fears of broader conflicts.

Israel has consistently maintained a stance of deterrence against Hezbollah, which it views as a significant threat, especially given the group’s military capabilities and support from Iran.

As these developments unfold, international observers remain watchful, concerned about the potential for a wider military engagement that could have serious implications for regional security.
