French football star Kylian Mbappé has taken legal action against Paris Saint-Germain, demanding €55 million in unpaid bonuses and salaries.
According to the Spanish newspaper “El”, the Real Madrid striker filed the lawsuit with both French and European football federations, raising serious allegations against the Qatari-owned club.
The dispute revolves around an agreement supposedly reached in August 2023, where Mbappé forfeited €80 million in wages and bonuses.
Relations between the player and PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi have been strained since February when Mbappé announced his departure, leading to PSG withholding part of his pay.
In June, through his lawyers, Mbappé notified PSG of unpaid salaries for May and June. The claims now being challenged in court include loyalty bonuses and three months of unpaid salaries.
Elsewhere, investor interest in clubs associated with Arab players continues to grow.
Nasser El Nenny, father of former Arsenal and current Al Jazira player Mohamed El Nenny, revealed that foreign investors have backed the establishment of “El Nenny FC” in England.
This initiative aims to support the integration and professional development of Arab players in Europe.
Meanwhile, Loay Mashabi, president of the Saudi club Al-Ittihad, announced on “X” that the club has yet to finalize loan agreements for players Marwan Al-Sahafi and Faisal Al-Ghamdi with Belgian club Bierchscot.
Discussions are ongoing to ensure the club’s rights are protected, including potential recalls of the players before the winter transfer window if necessary.
