More than 50 rockets were fired from southern Lebanon towards Israel’s Upper Galilee on Saturday morning, according to reports from Israeli and Arabic media. The attacks led to injuries and damage in the region.
Israeli media reported that two individuals were wounded in Margaliot, with one of them in critical condition, identified as soldiers. A building was also damaged by the shelling.
Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that two drones targeted the Marj military camp in northern Israel, resulting in multiple casualties among Israeli soldiers.
Sirens sounded in Safed and several towns in the Upper Galilee as the rocket barrage continued. Israel’s Channel 13 confirmed the heavy rocket attack, noting that dozens of rocket launches had been detected from Lebanon.
