The Algerian army announced on Wednesday the elimination of three high-risk terrorists, the arrest of three individuals supporting terrorist groups, and the seizure of 509 illegal migrants during military operations conducted across several provinces over five days.

The Algerian Ministry of Defense stated in a communiqué that from July 25 to 30, three high-risk terrorists were neutralized in western Algiers, armed with AK-47 rifles, following a search and sweep operation. Additionally, three individuals supporting terrorist groups were captured in separate military operations across Algeria, part of ongoing efforts to combat terrorism and organized crime in all its forms.

According to the statement, the Algerian army units also apprehended 49 drug traffickers and thwarted attempts to smuggle large quantities of drugs into the country through the western borders.
