The Russian Foreign Ministry has stated that the assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniya is an absolutely unacceptable political crime, according to Russian news agency reports quoting Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov. He remarked, “The killing of Haniya is an absolutely unacceptable political crime.”
Bogdanov told the agency, “This is an absolutely unacceptable political assassination and will lead to further escalation of tensions.”
