European Union (EU) Ambassador, Jose Sabadell, commended the Presidential Council’s decision to establish a Financial Oversight Committee as a constructive step forward.

In a tweet posted through his official Twitter account, Sabadell underlined that the inception of the Supreme Financial Oversight Committee by the Presidential Council is an exceedingly positive measure to ensure that Libya’s resources are harnessed for the benefit of all Libyans and to foster national unity.

He concluded his tweet by emphasizing that the economy should be a catalyst for peace, not a breeding ground for conflict.
