His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, received phone calls yesterday from William Samoei Ruto, President of Kenya, and Joko Widodo, President of Indonesia. During these calls, they discussed various areas of cooperation and joint work.
During his call with the Kenyan President, His Highness emphasized the importance the UAE places on strengthening its relations with the African continent and supporting everything that promotes development, stability, and peace, benefiting all its peoples with growth and prosperity.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed discussed with Dr. William Samoei Ruto the bilateral relations and promising opportunities to develop cooperation, particularly in the fields of economy, trade, investment, renewable energy, technology, and infrastructure.
These areas represent development priorities for both friendly countries and contribute to sustainable economic prosperity for their peoples.
The two leaders also addressed several issues of mutual concern and exchanged views on them.
The Kenyan President appreciated the UAE’s developmental initiatives in supporting the Kenyan people and enhancing his country’s progress and sustainable development efforts.
He affirmed Kenya’s keenness to strengthen its relations with the UAE and expand cooperation in various fields beneficial to both peoples.
In a phone call with the Indonesian President, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed explored various areas of cooperation and joint work within the framework of the strategic relations between the two countries, especially in economic and investment cooperation, which promotes sustainable development and prosperity for both friendly peoples.
During the call, Sheikh Mohamed and President Widodo exchanged congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the new Hijri year, praying that it brings goodness, growth, and prosperity to both countries, and peace, security, and stability to the Islamic nation and the world.
They also discussed several issues of common interest and exchanged views on them.
