Members of the Egyptian government took the oath of office today, Wednesday, before President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, in the presence of Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly.
“Al Arabiya.net” previously reported exclusively on the outlines of the new ministerial formation and the announcement of the government formation today, Wednesday, as well as the movement of governors and their deputies.
“Al Arabiya.net” also exclusively confirmed the departure of two sovereign ministers in Madbouly’s government, namely Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Justice Minister Counselor Omar Marwan.
It also disclosed the intention to appoint one or more deputies to the Prime Minister, the merging of ministries, and the appointment of several ministers and their deputies from the National Alliance for Civil Work, the Coordination of Youth of Parties and Politicians, and the Youth of the Presidential Program, all of which has been accomplished.
“Al Arabiya.net” previously revealed that the changes include between 16 to 20 ministers, and the announcement of the movement of governors will follow shortly after the new government announcement.
Sources previously indicated that the designated Prime Minister conducted over 65 meetings and sessions over 25 days to achieve the optimal governmental formation suited to current challenges. They added that he met approximately 130 personalities nominated for ministerial portfolios and the movement of governors during these meetings.
