Emirates Airlines emerged triumphant, securing a total of nine prestigious awards across multiple categories at the Business Travel Middle East Awards (BTME), World Travel Awards (WTA) 2024, and International Loyalty Awards 2024. The accolades recognize Emirates’ commitment to delivering unparalleled travel experiences both in the air and on the ground.

The awards ceremonies, held in conjunction with the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai, saw Emirates being crowned ‘Best Airline Worldwide’ at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2024. Additionally, the airline scooped up four more awards, including ‘Airline with the Best Premium Economy Class’ and ‘Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East’.

At the World Travel Awards, Emirates clinched top honors for ‘Middle East’s Leading Airline 2024’ and ‘Middle East’s Leading Airline – First Class 2024’, among others. Furthermore, Emirates Skywards, the airline’s loyalty program, was honored as the “Global Loyalty Programme of the Year Middle East” at the International Loyalty Awards 2024.

These accolades come as Emirates continues to innovate and enhance its offerings. Over the past year, the airline introduced various product enhancements, such as complimentary loungewear and meal pre-ordering for Business Class travelers. Additionally, Emirates reopened eight dedicated Emirates Lounges worldwide after comprehensive refurbishments and rolled out 16 A380s with the latest cabin interiors.

Looking ahead, Emirates has announced plans to expand its retrofit program to include 71 A380s and Boeing 777s, ensuring that the majority of its passenger fleet – a total of 191 aircraft – offers passengers an exceptional travel experience for years to come.
