The Arab League has announced an emergency session scheduled for next Wednesday at the request of Palestine, aimed at discussing the continuous acts of aggression by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.

Mauritania will preside over the session, with discussions centered on the repercussions of the recent US veto in the Security Council concerning Palestine’s UN membership.

Palestine’s call for the meeting specifically addresses the ongoing Israeli offenses in Gaza, the West Bank, and Jerusalem.

Furthermore, attendees will receive a comprehensive briefing from Francesca P. Albanese, the UN’s special rapporteur for human rights in the occupied Palestinian territories, following her recent meeting with the Arab League Secretary-General.
