France’s President Emmanuel Macron is set to host an international conference in support of Ukraine on Monday, as announced by his office in a statement on Thursday.

As the war in Ukraine enters its third year, European leaders and ministers have been invited to the conference “to consider ways to enhance the cooperation of partners in supporting Ukraine.”

Polish President Andrzej Duda, in an interview with Polsat TV, confirmed his attendance at the conference “to discuss new proposals for solutions and to offer assistance to Ukraine.”

Ukraine has been facing intense pressure on its eastern front for months, struggling with ammunition shortages and obstacles in receiving the crucial Western military aid it desperately needs.

Meanwhile, Russia is ramping up its weapons production and mobilizing significant human resources to launch its attacks.

So far, the US Congress has not approved new funding for military aid to Kyiv, but President Joe Biden has expressed confidence that this will eventually be achieved.
