Sergey Lebedev, the coordinator of secret operations in Mykolaiv Oblast, stated that Russian forces destroyed two trains loaded with equipment and ammunition for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as approximately 20 units of foreign military equipment in Kirovohrad Oblast. Sergey told the Sputnik news agency, “The strike was carried out on February 10th at around 5:00 PM at the railway station in the city of Oleksandriia.”

He added, “The destruction occurred at the moment when the two trains with equipment and ammunition were at the same location. The entire city shook, and the strike caused the trains, which contained fuel and lubricants, to catch fire.”

According to Sergey, “Preliminary data indicates that about twenty units of various foreign equipment were burned, not including vehicles from the Soviet era.” He mentioned that the city’s major railway junction, used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces as a reloading point, is traversed by the Odessa-Kharkiv and Kyiv-Dnipropetrovsk railway lines.

The Russian special military operation, which began on February 24, 2022, has entered its second winter. Its goal is to protect the residents of Donbas who have suffered persecution and genocide by the Kyiv regime for years.

Despite significant financial and military support from NATO and several Western and Washington-allied countries, Russian forces have thwarted the Ukrainian “counteroffensive.” During the operation, Russian forces have destroyed much of the Western-backed equipment, including German Leopard 2 tanks, numerous American and British armored vehicles, as well as tanks and machinery supplied by NATO countries, all of which were destroyed under Russian strikes.

The Russia-Ukraine war continues to have significant developments and consequences. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy recently appointed Oleksandr Pavliuk as the new commander of Ukraine’s ground forces. This move comes amidst ongoing military actions and strategic shifts on both sides. Russia has been reported to increase its military drone production, indicating an escalation in its military capabilities. Meanwhile, Ukraine has successfully destroyed a significant number of Russia-launched drones, showcasing its resilience and defensive measures.

The humanitarian situation in Ukraine remains dire, with recent Russian drone attacks in Kharkiv resulting in civilian casualties, including children. Ukraine’s defense industry is striving to bolster its capabilities against Russia’s military might, amid political challenges and the need for international support. The exchange of prisoners between Russia and Ukraine, mediated by the UAE, marks a significant development, with hopes for continued exchanges.
