Egypt’s Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, warmly welcomed Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Egypt and the Permanent Representative to the Arab League, marking the commencement of her tenure in Cairo.
At the outset of the meeting, the Prime Minister extended his best wishes to the Bahraini Ambassador, expressing his hope for her successful tenure in her “second home,” Egypt. This appointment is seen as a continuation of over half a century of diplomatic relations between Cairo and Manama.
Madbouly emphasized the profound and robust historical ties between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He expressed Egypt’s eagerness to further develop cooperation pathways between the two nations, particularly in the economic sphere, aiming to broaden the scope of collaboration and partnership.
This, he noted, would foster more promising investment opportunities benefiting both countries and their brotherly peoples.
The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of building on the strong support that these relations receive from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of Bahrain, to enhance cooperation ties and push them towards broader horizons.
He also requested the Ambassador to convey his greetings to Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Prime Minister.
For her part, Ambassador Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal expressed her appreciation for the meeting, which marks the beginning of her mission in Cairo. She conveyed the greetings of Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Bahrain and Prime Minister, to Dr. Mostafa Madbouly.
The Bahraini Ambassador expressed pride in the evolving and flourishing brotherly relations between the two countries across various fronts.
She emphasized the mutual commitment to enhancing cooperation and coordination on various issues, reflecting the close ties between the two nations’ leaderships.
She lauded the advanced and fruitful partnership between Bahrain and Egypt and expressed her eagerness to invigorate the activities of the joint committee between the two countries.
