The Israeli military said on Sunday that its fighter jets had recently bombed “military buildings, observation posts, and Hezbollah-affiliated sites” in Marvin, Al-Zahara, Aita el-Shaab, and other areas of southern Lebanon.

In addition, the Israeli military attacked a Hezbollah operations and infrastructure headquarters earlier on Sunday, and a number of targets “that posed a threat in southern Lebanon” were also attacked with artillery and tanks, according to army spokesman Daniel Hagari, in his account on the X platform.

Meanwhile, during the day, several rockets launched from Lebanese territory fell in open areas in the areas of Marglit and Zrayet.

A Sky News Arabia correspondent reported that four people were injured by suffocation from phosphorus shells fired by Israel at the town of Houla in the eastern sector of southern Lebanon.

He added: “Artillery shelling was recorded on the town of Kfar Kila in southern Lebanon.”

Hezbollah announced that it had carried out four operations on Israeli military sites in Tel Sheer, Ramim barracks, Hounin, and Baraka Risa.

Since the outbreak of the war between Israel and Hamas on October 7, 2023, Hezbollah has been engaged in near-daily exchanges of fire with Israeli forces along the border.
