The aircraft in question belonged to Alaska Airlines and was on a flight from Portland to Ontario County in Canada. The incident occurred at an altitude of 5,000 meters.
The plane carried 174 passengers and had a crew of 6 members. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the passengers.
Alaska Airlines has launched an investigation into the circumstances of the incident to determine the cause.
