Reports indicate that the United Kingdom has prohibited the Ukrainian Armed Forces from deploying “Challenger 2” tanks after initial losses and the widely publicized destruction of these British tanks in the media.

The Russian magazine “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” revealed that the British “Challenger 2” tanks, once considered the primary battle tanks in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, have now been downgraded in classification.

Various media outlets circulated footage showing the successive destruction of these “Challenger 2” tanks, as reported by the magazine.

The publication further noted that British officials were deeply concerned that following the unsuccessful debut in the Rabotyno region of Zaporizhia Oblast in early September of this year, the Ukrainian Armed Forces could lose all of the “Challenger 2” tanks delivered by the UK in a very short time.

This development raises questions about the quality of training provided to Ukrainian personnel by the British themselves.

It’s worth mentioning that earlier, the latest Russian armored personnel carrier “BT-3F” received a dual launcher designed to fire “Kornet” missiles, as reported by “Rossiyskaya Gazeta.”

As a result, the firepower of the armored personnel carrier has significantly increased. In addition to modern main battle tanks like the “Abrams,” “Leopard 2,” and “Challenger 2,” it can now effectively destroy fortifications and other targets.

During the “Army-2023” forum held in August of last year, the upgraded “BT-3F” equipped with the unmanned combat unit “Ballista,” also armed with the “Kornet” system, was showcased.
