The Gaza Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 21,110, with 55,243 injured due to Israeli air raids and ground operations since October 7. The ministry specified that these figures include 195 fatalities and 325 injuries in the past 24 hours alone.

According to the statement, “The Israeli army committed around 18 massacres against entire families in the last 24 hours, resulting in 241 deaths and 382 injuries.” Palestinian media sources reported that Gaza’s civil defense teams retrieved 20 bodies from the house of the Abu Aita family in eastern Jabalia refugee camp.

Meanwhile, the Israeli forces have intensified their targeting around the Nasser Medical Complex. Medical sources in Gaza expressed fear of a repeat scenario similar to that at the Shifa Medical Complex.

These sources urged the United Nations and other international organizations to take immediate and effective steps to ensure the protection of the Nasser Medical Complex, its staff, the wounded, patients, and thousands of displaced people sheltering there.

The medical sources also called for urgent international intervention to restore operations at the Shifa Medical Complex.
