The Tunisian Ministry of Communication Technologies has issued a warning about cyberattacks targeting the web pages of various ministries.

In a statement posted on its official Facebook page, the Ministry detailed that the attacks also targeted pages of public and private entities.

The Ministry explained that the attacks involved phishing operations from suspicious pages claiming to be affiliated with Facebook. These pages falsely informed that content from the official ministry or entity’s page on Facebook had been deleted.

It was highlighted that these pages contain phishing links. The Ministry advised administrators of official social media pages to exercise caution and avoid interacting with these links.

These links are harmful and pose a threat to the integrity of the information of the structures and institutions.

This incident underscores the growing concern over cybersecurity in Tunisia, as government and private sector entities face increasing threats from cybercriminals.
