In a resounding declaration, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince, Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, reiterated his country’s firm rejection of the unjust war unfolding in Gaza. He strongly condemned the humanitarian catastrophe in the region and pointed to the failure of the United Nations Security Council and the international community.

Addressing the exceptional Arab-Islamic Summit’s opening ceremony in Riyadh on Saturday, Prince Mohammad bin Salman stated, “This summit is convened under exceptional and painful circumstances. The Kingdom has made relentless efforts since the outset of the events in Gaza. We have continued to engage in consultations and coordination to halt the war.” He called for the immediate release of hostages and the protection of lives.

Prince Mohammad underscored, “We are facing a humanitarian catastrophe that exposes the failure of the Security Council and the international community to put an end to Israeli violations, revealing double standards.” He reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s unequivocal rejection of the ongoing aggression and forced displacement of Gaza’s residents, holding the Israeli authorities accountable for the crimes committed against the Palestinian people.

The Saudi Crown Prince emphasized that “a coordinated collective effort is required to address this regrettable situation,” urging collaboration to lift the blockade and provide humanitarian aid to Gaza.

He stressed that “the only path to achieving security, peace, and stability in the region is ending the occupation, the siege, and the settlements. It also involves granting the Palestinian people their legitimate rights and establishing their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.”

In parallel, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas declared today that Israeli forces have initiated an “unprecedented genocide war” in Gaza, surpassing all red lines. He called on the United Nations Security Council to “assume its responsibilities to immediately halt the brutal aggression and secure the entry of medical and food supplies, as well as the provision of water, electricity, and fuel to Gaza.”
President Abbas asserted, “We categorically reject any attempt to displace our people from Gaza or the West Bank,” emphasizing that Gaza is an integral part of the State of Palestine, and any political solution must be comprehensive.

Furthermore, he called upon the United States to “bear the responsibility for the absence of a political solution” and demanded the cessation of Israeli aggression.

King Abdullah II of Jordan also called for an end to the war in Gaza today, warning that its continuation could lead to a “significant clash that innocent people will pay the price for, affecting the world.”

In his address at the Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh, King Abdullah stated, “The injustice imposed on the Palestinians is evidence of the international community’s failure to support them and safeguard their rights.” He added, “Withholding food, medicine, water, and electricity from the people of Gaza is a war crime that the world must condemn.”
