Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud met with his Sierra Leonean counterpart, Mr. Timothy Musa Kaba, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Sierra Leone.

This came on the sidelines of the Saudi-African Summit held in Riyadh on 10 November, according to local media outlets.

During the meeting, both ministers discussed the current state of bilateral relations and explored ways to enhance and develop cooperation in various fields.

Additionally, they focused on strengthening both bilateral and multilateral efforts, as well as addressing developments in major international issues and the ongoing efforts regarding them.

Following the talks, the Saudi Foreign Minister and Sierra Leone’s Foreign Minister signed a General Cooperation Agreement and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on political consultations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Sierra Leone.

Meanwhile, the agreement aims to boost bilateral relations and intensify joint coordination and cooperation between the two countries.

The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Finance recently signed more than 50 deals and memoranda of understanding between Saudi Arabia and various African countries.

These agreements aim to establish a strong partnership and a promising future for all parties involved, as part of the Saudi-Arabian African Economic Conference held in Riyadh.

Furthermore, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman, the Saudi Minister of Energy, signed five memoranda of understanding encompassing all energy sectors between Saudi Arabia and five African countries: Senegal, Rwanda, Chad, Ethiopia, and Nigeria.

The Ministry shared this news on its social media account “X”, previously known as Twitter. It emphasized that the conference witnessed the participation of more than 1,000 attendees, including Saudi and Arab officials, Africans, investors from various nationalities, trade unions, and international organizations.

The Saudi-Arabian African Economic Conference brought together a multitude of officials from Saudi Arabia, Arab countries, and African nations, as well as leaders from the financial, business, and investment sectors.

The event is designed to facilitate discussions on bilateral relations and shared investment opportunities.
