In a major crackdown against drug smuggling, the security patrols in the Asir region of Saudi Arabia have apprehended two individuals who violated border security laws by smuggling 198 kilograms of the narcotic plant Khat. The arrests were made in the Al-Reith Governorate.
Both suspects have been detained, and appropriate legal measures are being taken against them. They have been transferred to the relevant authorities for further investigation and action.
