Tunisia & France Discuss Cooperation in Educational Sector

Tunisian Minister of Education Mohamed Ali El Bougdiri met with representatives from the French Institute in Tunisia and reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening collaborative ties with France.

El Bougdiri highlighted the intention to forge partnership agreements in the realm of education, emphasizing the importance of periodic joint follow-up sessions to expedite educational projects aimed at enhancing services for both educators and students.

The discussion centered on fortifying cooperation in the educational sector, particularly by closely monitoring the activities of the educational mission in Paris.

The minister stressed the significance of nurturing and supporting the Tunisian community’s members, encouraging them to engage in Arabic language studies, and fostering communication between the two countries.

This collaboration seeks to invigorate the educational landscape through the exchange of visits and delegations between the two friendly nations, fostering connections between the educational, university, and the French Institute in Tunisia.

Underscoring the need for coordination between all relevant institutions and ministry officials and their French counterparts, the minister highlighted the collaborative efforts to realize the Tunisian school project in Paris.

He expressed appreciation for the existing partnership and cooperation between the two nations.

In response, representatives from the French Institute in the Republic expressed their full readiness to further develop relations in the fields of education and culture, particularly among the youth.

This stresses the commitment of both nations to fostering mutual understanding and advancing educational initiatives. It also aligns with Tunisia’s pursuit of elevating its educational sector through international partnerships.
