A collision between two buses, one of which was carrying tourists, occurred on Thursday evening in the Manhattan neighborhood of New York, resulting in over 80 injuries. Eighteen individuals were transported to the hospital, although their injuries were reported as non-life-threatening, according to the Fire Department.
Kevin Murphy, Deputy Chief of the New York City Fire Department, stated that the incident took place around 7:00 p.m. (11:00 p.m. GMT) on 1st Avenue near Gramercy Park.
Footage released by the department on Twitter shows an open-top double-decker tourist bus colliding with the rear of another city-operated bus.
